About the Anandshala Program
In partnership with BEPC (Bihar Education Project council) Quest is running Anandshala program across 996 Govt schools of Samastipur District. In April 2018, the program has expanded to Deoghar, Jharkhand as part of Dasra Education Collaborative and the programme is being implemented with the support of two local partner NGOs having Quest playing the role of technical support and funding. The main objective of this program is to make the School a Joyful learning space for building essential skills of students to become independent thinkers.
About the Role
Quest Alliance is seeking an individual who will play the role of Content Development Specialist to anchor the content related research, conceptualization, design and delivery of digital and print content of Anandshala. The role involves designing activities for virtual and physical workshop settings for government school functionaries.
S/He will work in close collaboration with the Education Specialist and other team members of Anandshala. The role of Digital Content Development Specialist is an exciting opportunity to contribute and learn in the content development and capacity building strategy for different stakeholders and in operationalisation of ed-techs strategy.
Role Description
Execution of Content Development and Dissemination Strategies
Content and Capacity Building are at the core of the Anandshala model. You will work with the team to ensure the cascade of programme strategies through the content and capacity building function.
You will co-design content in digital formats - audio, video, posters that are engaging and help various stakeholders to move towards being change agents in the government education system.
You will develop understanding of particular content and develop strategies and frameworks to integrate the content in school processes such as morning assembly, Bal-Sansad.
Content Design and Production for our key stakeholders
The program intervenes in government schools from grade V toll VIII in Bihar and Jharkhand. Government school teachers, Cluster Resource Centre Coordinators, Head Teachers and Programme Team are the key stakeholders interacting with the Anandshala Content. The content is published in digital and print formats.

You will be responsible for:
Research & Content Development
Developing Content focus areas based on stakeholder Journey and strategies mapped (CRCC, Head Teachers, Parents, Bal Sansad, Teachers)
Develop content map for integration of Socio-Emotional Learning content in school processess such as Morning Assembly, Bal-Sansad, Last Class, Parent Teacher meetings.
Research and develop templates, frameworks to be deployed for supporting and building capacities of CRCCs and HTs
Develop digital content using various formats such as quiz, videos, short presentations, virtual activities, text and others.
The digital content should be fit for mobile learning.
The content for physical workshops should be easy to implement for the programme team.
Upgrade the program content for the different thematic areas for key stakeholders based on the journeys mapped for each stakeholder.
Working closely with the training and programme team ensure clarity on the content transaction
Develop key messages based on various themes of content.
Collaboration with other teams
Collaborate with M&E team to ensure the data capturing framework for digital learning.
Collaborate with the research team to create frameworks to understand learner personas.
Collaborate with the communications team to prepare and disseminate content on specific content related themes.
Build capacities of team members to introduce digital content to stakeholders, demonstrate content related activities in schools.
Build capacities of team members to ensure implementation of activities, templates and frameworks created for key stakeholders capacity building.
3. Overall Programme implementation
Bring the insights of field visits and workshops into the overall content and capacity building strategy of the programme.
Taking the team onboard for all the workshops and virtual sessions
Requirements
Minimum 3-4 years of work experience in creating digital and non-digital learning content. (Simulation activities, Presentations, short videos, audio, posters)
Understanding of Instruction Design, Design Thinking
Knowledge on use of softwares for audio, video editing and storyboards for digital content creation.
An experience in implementing blended learning content for elementary school related projects.
Relevant education qualifications for handling adult learning process, 21st century skills and remote learning.
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi.
Excellent IT skills
Should be able to use Adobe illustrator, Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop etc.
Willingness to travel (as the current situation improves)
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with other teams
