Position: Program Officer

I-TECH India provides technical assistance to the National AIDS Control Organization (NACO) to support the implementation of the national Antiretroviral Therapy (ART) program, in partnership with the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and with funding from The US President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Response (PEPFAR).

Position Overview

The Program Officer will be based in Delhi and support the technical team in program-related activities specifically around documentation, reporting, coordination and field support, as per need. Program Officer will report to Program Manager.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential:

• Postgraduate/Graduate with minimum 3 years’ experience in any public health programs, preferable HIV
• Experience of developing academic publications, reports
• Understanding of public health programs

Desirable:
• Preferably medical qualification such as MBBS, BDS

Profile of Ideal Candidate:
• Working knowledge of MS Office package, especially MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Able to do high quality reporting and documentation in English
• Willing to undertake travel as needed
• Previous experience with research and project implementation
