Position: MIS Development Officer

Organization: Kamalnayan Jamnalal Bajaj Foundation (KJBF)

Location: Wardha, Maharashtra

• Ensure the management information system (MIS) captures and monitors all aspects of the projects within the framework established by the project guidelines, including but not limited to projects inputs, outputs, outcomes, impact, relevance, sustainability, degree of achievement of projects objectives, identification of lessons learnt best practices etc.
• Support in the roll-out of new applications based on Organization’s requirement.
• Respond within agreed time limits
• Develop/ Maintain MIS software based on Organization’s requirement.
• Provide technical inputs for upgrading the existing IT systems of the organization.
• Organize IT capacity building training for staff at regular intervals
• Ensure that capture all data, including planning data, survey data, and implementing progress both physical and disbursement to the MIS system from the village level.
• Oversee the compilation of timely reports, documentation, and follow-up physical and disbursement progress of projects implementation in project Village.
• Provide regular Revise and update regularly methods, formats and analytical progress of the M&E system.
• Keep up with trends in the constantly evolving information technology industry.
•  Build the capacity of Bajaj team on use of Google earth, GIS, various other related technologies useful for rural development organization.
• Mobile based Data Collection – Provide support in collecting the survey data by using social cops application, help the team to create the questionnaire in the application.
• General Procurement – Provide technical inputs for general software and hardware purchase of Bajaj Foundation.
• Conduct regular Internal IT audit with the help of team.
• Cloud Server – Manage cloud server for Bajaj Foundation and take a regular back up of the data on the cloud.
• Decide on how to record, report and analyse progress against the Annual Work Plan and Budget (AWPB) and project operation manual and update information needs of project management, line agencies, primary stakeholder, cooperating agencies.

• MCA, B.E (IT), B.Tech (IT) M.Sc. (IT) with at least 2 to 3 years of experience in computer hardware & software.
• Good understanding of PC hardware set-up and configuration highly desirable.
• Ability to seek solutions to problems using one’s own resources
• Must have sound knowledge of data analysis in MS excel

• At least three-year experience in MIS management and M/E data analysis and documentation related job will get preference. Experience in working in Rural Development Project in Governments departments will be an added advantage
