Roles & Responsibilities

  • Support the development and implementation of public health projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • The main project could be on adolescent health, nutrition, menstrual health and hygiene and its related awareness in the community. This would be a van-based model consisting of being on-field and a life-changing opportunity to train and lead the trainings on adolescent girls leadership development
  • Conduct research and data analysis to identify public health needs, challenges, and opportunities for intervention.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of public health initiatives, including awareness campaigns, health education programs, and community outreach activities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders to ensure effective coordination and smooth execution of project activities.
  • Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and prepare regular reports on project outcomes and impact.
  • Collect and analyze data related to public health indicators, health behaviors, and health outcomes to inform program design and evaluation.
  • Assist in the development and dissemination of educational materials, resources, and tools related to public health promotion and disease prevention.
  • Coordinate with healthcare professionals, community organizations, and government agencies to facilitate collaboration and maximize project impact.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments, research, and best practices in public health to contribute to evidence-based project design and implementation.
  • Adhere to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards, ensuring efficient utilization of resources.
  • Contribute to the overall knowledge-sharing and learning culture within the organization through documentation and dissemination of project results, lessons learned, and best practices.

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Bachelor’s Degree/ Master’s Degree in Development, Public Health, community health or related field.
  • At least 1-2 years of on field experience, preferably in projects around health, health awareness and education
  • Clear and systematic thinking that demonstrates good judgment, expert problem-solving, and creativity
  • Deep understanding of data collection and data analysis tools with excellent command of MS-excel for high-end data analysis
  • An in-depth understanding of developing sample plans, designing field work tools etc.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge of monitoring and evaluation frameworks and tools for Public Health.
  • Computer literacy with good Excel, MS Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint skills
  • Ability to speak in Marathi is a must
