Position: Program Officer (Nabard Funding Agency)

Self Help Group (SHG) Linkage and Credit Linkage:
Facilitate the formation and strengthening of Self Help Groups (SHGs) in the target areas.
To promote financial literacy through schemes and programs funded by NABARD and to facilitate credit linkage for SHGs.
Provide training and capacity-building support to SHGs on financial management, entrepreneurship, and livelihood enhancement.
Role of Chief Officer of Off Producer Organization (OFPO) and Farmer Producer Organization (FPO) Programme:
Lead the implementation of OFPO and FPO programs supported by NABARD funding.
Collaborate with farmers and producer/artisan groups to establish and strengthen OFPOs and FPOs.
Provide guidance on governance, business planning, marketing, value addition and access to credit for OFPOs and FPOs.
awareness campaign:
Design and implement awareness campaigns on various social, economic and environmental issues relevant to the target communities.
Conduct advocacy activities to promote sustainable agricultural practices, rural development and financial inclusion.
Collaborate with stakeholders including community leaders, government agencies and local organizations to maximize the impact of awareness campaigns.
Integrated Water Management Programme:
Implement integrated water management programs focusing on water conservation, watershed management and irrigation practices.
Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to plan and implement water resources development projects.
Providing technical assistance and training to communities on water management techniques, water-efficient agriculture and water conservation practices.
Livelihood Training in Livelihood and Enterprise Development Programs (LEDP):
To develop and deliver training programs on Livelihood Promotion and Entrepreneurship Development.
Identify skill development needs of target communities and design training modules accordingly.
Provide guidance and assistance in setting up micro enterprises and income-generating activities.
Micro Enterprises Development Program (MEDP):
Implement Micro Enterprise Development Program (MEDP) supported by NABARD funding.
Identify potential micro enterprises and facilitate their establishment and growth.
Provide training, advice and support to micro entrepreneurs on business planning, marketing, finance and other relevant areas.
Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting:
Develop a monitoring and evaluation framework to track the progress and impact of programs.
Collect and analyze data, prepare reports and present findings to Management, NABARD and other stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with reporting requirements and maintain accurate records of program activities, expenditures and results.
Abilities and skills:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant field such as Rural Development, Agriculture, Social Sciences or related disciplines.
Previous experience in program management, preferably in the area of rural development, SHG linkage, credit linkage, FPO, OFPO, awareness campaign, water management and livelihood training.
Knowledge of NABARD funding programmes, guidelines and procedures.
Familiar with SHG and FPO models, financial inclusion and micro enterprise development.
Strong project planning, implementation and monitoring skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and networking abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple stakeholders.
Proficiency in data analysis, report writing and documentation.
Fluency in local languages relevant to the project area may be required.
