Eligibility and skills:

Qualification :

1. Doctorate Degree in Animal Science (Aquaculture/Poultry Science/VeterinarySc. & Animal Husbandry)/Social Science/ Social Work and related fields. In-depth knowledge about local agricultural practices, socio-economic and ethnographic composition along with animal husbandry practices (aquaculture and poultry) in the state of Madhya Pradesh will be highly desirable for this position.

2. Masters degree in Animal Science (Aquaculture/Poultry Science/VeterinarySc. & Animal Husbandry)/Social Science/ Social Work and related fields with at least 3 years of working experience in developmental fields. In-depth knowledge about local agricultural practices, socio-economic and ethnographic composition along with animal husbandry practices (aquaculture and poultry) in the state of Madhya Pradesh will be highly desirable for this position.

Candidates with Livelihood diversification studies in animal agriculture (aquaculture and poultry) areas/ One Health Implementation as Thesis/Dissertation research background will be preferred.

• Excellent research, analysis and writing skills in English and Hindi.
• Ability to work in a small team, taking initiative and in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Prior experience in relevant field and associated research and implementation framework will be an added advantage
• Candidate should have good networking skills with relevant stakeholders (government officials, research institutes, local administrative bodies and communities, partner NGOs and others)
