About the role:
You will be part of the Knowledge Hub team headquartered in Bangalore. You will be reporting to the Senior Research and Impact Manager and will be responsible for supporting research and evaluation studies that are carried out for programmatic interventions. You will be involved in developing the tools to capture qualitative and quantitative data and change stories. Your responsibilities will include undertaking primary research and data collection, monitoring quality and fidelity of surveys as well as carrying out data analysis and report writing.
As an M&E Officer you will contribute to generating insights to ensure high standards of program implementation.
Responsibilities
Support the Senior Research and Impact Manager in Evaluation and Dissemination efforts
Provide technical support in Program Strategy development informed by Evidence based learning
The role will cover the following:
Support in Evaluation efforts along with dissemination of findings internally and externally
Support in the management of internal and external project and programmatic evaluations, such as baseline, end-line surveys, including designing & planning for data collection, analysis and report writing in coordination with the Research team
Managing qualitative data analysis that gets generated through various media in various channels like LMS, App, discussion forums etc.
Work with the program implementation team to produce high quality documentation including case studies, evaluation reports, briefing notes based on FGDs, IDIs etc with the aim of improving and communicating program efficiency
Organize and lead quarterly share outs with program team based on learning and insights from past quarters
Provide technical support in Program Strategy development informed by Evidence based learning
Support implementation team and program coordinators by providing relevant evidence and data to formulate strategy for implementation and scale.
Other duties as required.
You maybe occasionally required to work on weekends and/or public holidays, for which compensatory leave will be granted.
Postgraduate degree/ qualifications in economics, statistics or Quantitative research
Knowledge and experience in use of computer-based data analysis packages such as Stata. Alternatively, familiarity in using Python or R for statistical analysis
Ability to draft compelling reports grounded in data
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Willingness to travel to other locations, as per need
An interest to look for newer ways of capturing program impact and learnings
Proficiency in speaking and writing in Indian languages including Hindi, Gujarati, Kannada, Odia, Telugu would be an asset
Desirable
Candidates with 1-2 years of experience in advanced statistical analysis will be preferred.
