Position: Mobilization Executive (ME)

Posting:

Mobilization Executive will be allotted two-three adjoining blocks in the state of Jharkhand where they will have to stay and do field movement. This will involve traveling to all Panchayats/villages of the blocks in a phased manner.

Responsibilities:

Primary responsibilities include and are not limited to –

• Lead, develop & manage a team of 10-15 village volunteers/mobilization channels across the block
• Mobilize candidates for Kalyan Gurukuls as per the monthly target given
• Work closely with village volunteers on a daily basis to monitor their progress
• Provide support in marketing and training needs of volunteers and channel partners
• Develop strategic interventions to identify and strengthen channels that require extra support to continue meeting monthly mobilization targets
• Maintaining village-wise databases of the target community
• Liaison between BDO/DWO/JTDS/JSLPS offices, PREJHA HO team & other partners
• Prepare weekly/monthly reports and share them with the reporting manager and MIS

Knowledge and Technical Skills

• In-depth understanding and passion for rural development
• Understanding of Skill Development and Vocational Education
• Excellent people skills, written and oral communication skills
• Experience in assessing and developing relationships with stakeholders like Government authorities\Community Based Organizations\NGOs
• Organized and high sales orientation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of work experience in the areas of Skill Development, Micro-Finance, Rural Development, or allied sectors
• Strong mobilization experience of rural youth (Male and female)
• Knowledge of any Jharkhand-based tribal language would be given preference for Jharkhand Location.
• Bachelor’s degree with relevant work experience.
• Postgraduate in social work or rural development will be preferred
• Fresher or non-experienced may also apply for the 6 monthly internship programs

Compensation: Rs 30,000 to Rs 40,000 per month CTC (including performance incentive & Travel allowance) based on experience and fit
