Position: Project Coordinator

Key Functions:
The Project coordinator will be responsible for implementation of Vihaan program, documentation of program activities and timely preparation of reports at respective SSRs. The PC will work in close collaboration with the program team and Sub Recipient (SR)
Specific roles and responsibilities of PC:
o Supervision of field level activities on regular basis.
o Oversee all capacity building activities for staff and organization.
o Development and monitoring of weekly work plan of CSC staff as per the performance indicators.
1. Ensure that all project related registers (reporting tools) are available at the project office and updated periodically.
2. Ensure that the peer counselor and ORWs carry materials that are important for the smooth conducting of program activities both within the CSC and during the field visits. E.g. Daily diaries, communication/ advocacy materials for distribution/demonstration.
3. Ensure availability of materials (condoms, communication materials wherever necessary) for distribution.
o Provide the CSC registration number to all clients registered in CSC/field by ORW.
1. Oversee all the M&E activities in the project. Ensure that all the field data are collected on weekly basis and entered in the MIS.
2. Generate monthly and quarterly reports as per protocol
3. Ensure the timely submission of quarterly report to SR.
o Establish linkages with local service providers, especially the attached ART center, and develop robust referral systems. Periodic coordination meetings with the ART center, ICTC, PPTCT, TI
o Arrange weekly and monthly meetings to identify lacunas in the project and lead the efforts to address them.
o To ensure that the activities of the CSC reflect the SOP and are in line with the requirements specified in the CST segment of NACP IV
o Lead /facilitate all advocacy efforts at the CSC (SSR) level including conducting meetings and focus group discussions in the field.
o To maintain inventory and stock registers
o To liaise with the accountant and program staff to monitor the project activities in order to ensure implementation of a cost-effective CSC.
o Liaise with SR and PR wherever and whenever needed.
o Conduct periodic field visits with or without the ORW, counselor and staff from SR and PR
o Liaise with key stakeholders members of the SLN and DLN, local government structures and SACS / DAPCU/ DHO
o Organize monthly monitoring activities including visits to the sites (Home based care; advocacy related activities etc. and share the experiences /concerns with relevant staff during staff meetings.
Overall supervision of other activities/services that the CSC will be involved in: Linkages, Social protection schemes, treatment services etc.
Required Qualification and work experience:
Post Graduate with two years’ relevant experience or Graduate with more than 3 years’ experience in Social and Development Sector and basic knowledge of Computer must.
