JOB SUMMARY: The Technical Coordinator - ICT & Institution Building will be responsible for integrating and strengthening ICT & institution building related components in the proposed project aiming at “Strengthening Civil Society organizations (CSO) towards fostering women empowerment in Eastern Uttar Pradesh”. The components include the promotion of a Learning Management System, project management software, mobile applications, web portal for Farmers Producers Company, digitalization of training modules, extend support for audio visual documentation, evolving strategies for institutional building, etc.

ROLE SUMMARY The Technical Coordinator - ICT & Institution Building will be responsible for integrating and strengthening ICT & institution building related components in the proposed project aiming at “Strengthening Civil Society organizations (CSO) towards fostering women empowerment in Eastern Uttar Pradesh”. The components include the promotion of a Learning Management System, project management software, mobile applications, web portal for Farmers Producers Company, digitalization of training modules, extend support for audiovisual documentation, evolving strategies for institutional building, etc.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Study the requirements related to ICT and institutional building components of the project and evolve strategies to integrate the same into the project.
  • Manage the Learning Management System (LMS), Project Management Software, Mobile Applications, web portal for Farmers Producers Company, and digitalization of training modules in collaboration with external technical agencies for the project.
  • Assist Software development agencies with requirement and functionality clarification. Participate in Quality Assurance Testing to ensure a successful implementation. < /li>
  • Ensure to meet the deadlines of application rollouts.
  • Develop and maintain training materials; including presentations, user guides, and troubleshooting materials to support teammates in their use of the Learning Management Systems and other applications.
  • Set-up administration including set-up, configuration, scheduling, content loading, delivery, testing, and tracking to assure learning programs are effectively managed and delivered.
  • Smooth maintenance of digital platforms and systems.
  • Capacity building of staff team, CSOs, and representatives of people’s organizations in making use of digital platforms.
  • Extend support to the communications department in promoting audio-visual documentation.
  • Monitoring the usage of digital platforms by the project team, CSOs, and CBOs.
  • Participate in the review meetings along with other team members and evaluate the progress on a regular basis and provide necessary guidance and handholding support to the project team CSOs & CBOs.
  • Any other tasks as assigned by the Reporting Manager.


QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE/ COMPETENCIES:

  • Postgraduate degree in MCA / MSc. in Computer Science.
  • At least 5 years of experience, preferably in the NGO sector.
  • Self-driven, result-oriented, and experience in managing teams.
  • Strong experience in ICT 4 D.
  • Strong project management skills; ability to prioritize projects and deadlines and clearly communicate status, progress, and constraints with all stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of programming skills in any following languages. Python / Java / C# /VB.Net preferred
  • Sound knowledge of Database Management skills (MS-SQL/MySQL/Postgrace SQL)
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) in Hindi & English.
  • Strong computer skills, with sound knowledge of Microsoft Office suite applications.
  • Willingness to travel to remote locations.
  • Be gender sensitive with strong conviction and skills for the empowerment of excluded and disadvantaged children.
