Key Job Area:

Assist in growing and delivering Fundraising Strategy and Planning
● Support the CEO to define long-term organizational strategic goals
● Assist in creating pipeline strategy for TAP
● Research opportunities for the CEO to attend industry functions, such as
association events and conferences.
● Research on new trends with a view to developing new approaches and
campaigns.
● Using knowledge of the market and competitors, assist in identifying and
developing the organization’s unique selling point.

Fundraising:

● Individual Donors (High Network Individuals):
○ Assist in developing the pipeline of new donors coming into the
organization through cold calls, meetings, etc.
○ Research and identify prospective individual donors and support the CEO
to present TAP and its work to secure high-level donations.
○ Support the CEO to convert them into confirmed donors and strengthen
relations with existing donors.

● CSR:
○ Identify opportunities and potential tie-ups that will bring in revenue,
support and funds for TAP.

● Plan persuasive approaches, campaigns and pitches that will convince potential
donors.
● Work with the team to develop proposals that speak to the donor’s needs,
concerns and objectives.
● Events and Fundraising
○ Identify collateral needs (e.g. publications, video, online
communications, mailing materials) to support TAP fundraising
activities.

Qualifications & Experience:
● Graduate/Postgraduate.

● Strong interpersonal skills.
● Networking skills
● Detail orientation
● Strong written and verbal communication skills
● Proficient use of MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word) and Google Suite (Docs, Slides,
Sheets)
● Database Management, Budgeting, Marketing, Donor Engagement and management
● Basic knowledge of Financial Reporting
● Commercial acumen
● 1-3 years of relevant full-time work experience in Fundraising.
