Position: Project Officer

Duties and responsibilities

Project support and documentation fellow will support the location lead and other project leads at the location level and perform following duties.

Key responsibilities are:

• Networking and partnering with government organizations including NRLM, ministry of rural development, NABARD, forest department, health department etc. for accessing resources to LBCT supported Self-help groups.
• Capacity building of village-based organizations like biodiversity committees, health committees, water, and sanitation committee etc. in partnership with gram panchayats.
• Managing the implementation and monitoring the environment conservation project in each panchayat
• Developing a sustainable model for environment conservation projects through LBCT project.
• Forming and sustaining youth groups in each village.
• Profiling of each village through PRA.
• Maintain monthly and quarterly MIS as per the organizational Sops.
• Ensuring proper documentation of all the projects.

Qualifications

Postgraduate in social work/rural development with 2 years of experience.

Other Skills
• Sound IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, internet, google forms)
• Sound understanding of community engagement projects at village level
• Interest to work with rural community.
• Good command over languages like English and Hindi
• Good report writing skills.
• Should be a team player.
