Position: Program Manager

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Overall responsible for effective planning and implementation of the Program

 Ensure effective monitoring and measurement systems are in place to measure outputs and outcome

 Develop, foster and manage partnerships at field level as well as district & state level for leveraging resources for projects implementation

 Maintain and monitor project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets and expenditures.

 Ensure documentation and follow up on important decisions, actions and achievements

 Represent the organization in external forums at the Block/District / State level through presentations, networking, publications, and engagement in the development discourse.

 Contribute to CYSD programs, donor reporting, grants acquisition and management, support to the proposal and concept note development.

 Fulfill any other responsibility as assigned by the supervisor from time to time

QUALIFICATION/ EXPERIENCE/ SKILLS/ COMPETENCIES:

Masters degree in Agriculture or allied subject/ Master in social sciences /Rural Management / Rural Development and minimum 2 years experience of working in rural development projects in Government, / non-government organizations

 Must have leadership and managerial skill

 Should be a team player and worked in a competitive and professional environment

 Must have proven experience of managing environmental security and livelihood development projects and experience on Production Cluster promotion

 Proficiency in standard office applications (Excel, Power point, word)

 Ability to organize and prioritize own work

 Excellent communication skill in English and Odia

 Be gender sensitive with strong conviction and skills for the empowerment of excluded and disadvantaged group

 Willing and able to travel extensively throughout the project areas.
