As a Programme Manager in the CPI India team, you’ll be leading a diverse team and your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Identifying, developing and expanding relationships with current and potential partners to support business development activities including developing presentations and proposals.
Developing and overseeing all aspects of programme delivery including preparation of project plan, chairing meetings, stakeholder engagements and troubleshooting.
Providing support to staff working on the programmes to ensure the project team is aligned on roles and responsibilities.
Overseeing the budget and financial management of the project to ensure spending remains on track.
Developing procedures and systems which support successful project delivery across multiple partners (shared workspaces, CRM system, privacy compliance etc.).
Producing reports, case studies and general communications for the programme.
Be passionate about CPI’s vision for reimagining government and have a solid understanding of how government works.
7+ years’ experience in programme management in social impact consulting and public sector; experience in grassroots organisations and not-for-profit roles will be an added benefit. This must include 2+ years’ experience in leading teams.
Manage programme teams, including coordinate and delegate initiatives to ensure programme goals are met.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, comfortable working and influencing senior ecosystem stakeholders and build new relationships.
Have strong organisational skills, experience with balancing competing priorities, and be willing to take initiative.
Be comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and managing work and timelines with limited supervision.
Be comfortable contributing to and leading research projects, running programmes, as well as projects which incorporate both research and programmatic elements (which most do!)
Superior analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills and experience monitoring impact of multi-stakeholder projects; competent in financial monitoring and budgeting.
Be comfortable with ambiguity and the complexity of our work, where anything is possible but not always known in advance.
High levels of digital literacy, particularly across Google and MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word) applications.
