Position: Business Development Manager

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
To achieve the aim, the Business Development Manager (BDM) role includes, but not limited to, the following:
1) Identifying, qualifying, and securing business opportunities; coordinating business generation activities; developing customized targeted strategies to build and grow client base.
2) Building business relationships with current and potential clients.
3) Understanding client needs and offering solutions and support; answering potential client questions and follow-up call questions;
4) Responding to client requests for proposals (RFPs)
5) Collaborating with the leadership team to secure, retain, and grow accounts.
6) Creating informative presentations; presenting and delivering information to potential clients at client meetings, conferences, etc.
7) Creating and maintaining a list/database of prospect clients; maintaining a database (Salesforce, CRM, Excel, etc.) of prospective client information.
8) Collaborating on BD goals, planning, and forecasting; maintaining short- and long-term business development plans.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
1) At least 4 to 6 years of experience in B2B client engagements and partnerships, preferably across the social impact space
2) Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect, and interact with potential customers
3) Persuasive and goal-oriented
4) Possesses an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor
5) Able to professionally and confidently communicate with C-Level Executives
6) MBA or equivalent
7) Excellent analytical and time-management skills
8) Demonstrated and proven B2B account management results
9) Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team
10) Language: English, Marathi, and preferably Hindi. (Proficiency in reading, writing and speaking)
