Position: Block Livelihood Expert (Agriculture & Allied)

Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Prepare the plan for Plantation, Horticulture and Livelihood works of the GPs in the Gram Sabha.
2. Prepare design, plan and estimates of the works.
3. Provide layout of the works and monitor the works execution and completion.
4. Actively work to create social awareness about rights and entitlements of MGNREGS.
5. Any other work assigned as an when by the competent authority.

Qualifications: Masters in Agricultural Economics /Horticulture / Agro- forestry / Agronomy / Forestry.

Experience:

At least 2 years work experience with reputed organizations working towards improvement of rural livelihoods. The work experience should be primarily on use of agriculture and allied activities for enhancement of incomes of rural poor.
