Responsibilities:
Strategic and Financial Management:
- Lead B2C retail business through SARAS Gallery store
- Meet retail contribution target by planning, executing, and monitoring all strategies related to B2C retailing
- Drive consumer obsession within the own retail division in line with the SARAS vision and belief
- Create financial plans & budgets, and drive retail P&L and achieve objectives as planned
Retail Operation Effectiveness & Efficiency:
- Drive sales and store footfalls through planning & supervising in-store as well as online promotional events/activities
- Drive and support operational performance of retail team by effective target setting, operational planning, KPI monitoring
- Reinforce store operating procedures (SOPs), standards, manuals, tools and processes to keep retail operations at the leading edge
- Review and plan store merchandise plans with the objective of building width & depth of product categories along with preparation of appropriate store planogram
- Maintain outstanding store setup and visual merchandising standards in the Store
- Manage customer research programs for gaining insights & intelligence, and structuring consumer feedback sharing mechanisms to improve the Stores NPS
- Ensuring high standards of customer services & SARAS Store image by leveraging digital platforms & channels
Strengthen Retail Teams Capability:
- Drive HR activities to enhance and sustain retail performance staff planning, recruiting, rewards & incentives, and training
- Build strong succession plan for own retail employees & facilitate best practice sharing across the market
Qualifications and Eligibility Criteria:
- Retail professional with a minimum of 10 to 15 years experience with a recognized top-tier brand in the retail sector operations- handling apparel, home dcor & gift accessories
- Must have exposure to other retail disciplines is essential especially VM and product merchandising
- Post-graduation in Business/Retail Management other relevant/equivalent qualifications
- Prior experience in managing retails operations for hand-crafted products would be preferred
Skills:
- Software fluency: G-Suite, MS Office
- Desirable Traits: Managing Businesses, Processes and Projects Financial; Understanding of Store P&L; Awareness of levers that impacts KPI Analysis; Problem Solving; Planning and Organizing; Excellent communication & interpersonal skills; Entrepreneurial spirit
