What you will do:
This position will involve a mix of:
- Building Relationships- Initiate and maintain relationships with senior professionals responsible for corporate social responsibility (CSR) and strategic partnerships.
- Managing Partnerships- Manage the lifecycle from initiating contact to proposal writing, due diligence, agreement negotiation, and ongoing reporting and renewal.
- Improving Engagement- Increase engagement with new and existing partners to drive additional value for both parties.
- Diversifying Funding Sources- Identify and strengthen alternative funding sources like retail/individual giving.
- Applying For Awards - Identify and apply for relevant national and international awards/grants and competitions.
What your day might look like:
While no two days are the same, some may look like this:
- You are pitching Medha's core program to a potential partner/funder.
- You are working on writing a proposal for a potential partner/funder.
- You are communicating with the field team to understand the progress and challenges related to a particular project.
- You have a monthly reporting call scheduled with a partner/funder allocated to you to share project-related updates.
- You are working on an application for an award/competition in the livelihoods space.
- You are coordinating with a current partner/funder to organize a field visit.
