Role Purpose:
Key Responsibilities & Corresponding Tasks
Primary Duties:
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Design, develop, strategies and implement new CSR projects in the field of Education, health and social entrepreneurship landscape.
- Develop program and route to achieve objectives of the CSR.
- Administer and manage the affairs of CSR vertical and work towards strengthening the capacity of individuals or groups across all units in the organization's, CSR division.
- Prepares the annual CSR budget and action plan for the Project.
- Build relationships and works closely with partner NGO organizations and internal teams, to ensure that projects are running successfully and periodically update the internal CSR committee on status.
- Develops and manage the social responsibility policies for the organization.
- Reach out to the public via PR and marketing to deliver the message of the organization's commitment to social responsibility.
- Prepare regular updates on CSR projects for internal key stakeholders, including status on ongoing projects and new proposals for internal discussions, Benchmark competition and industry best practices in CSR.
- Work closely with legal and finance team to ensure compliance to internal onboarding procedures for external NGO Project partners, including due diligence, contracts and scope of work, monitoring and evaluation process, fund disbursements.
- Monitor and measure progress of various CSR projects through reports and field visits and prepare impact assessment and evaluation reports, metrics and goals for all projects.
- Ensure payment releases are initiated as per the agreed timelines and service level agreements.
- Work across geographies (India and outside) and remain abreast of CSR activities where organization has a key role to play
- Establish and maintain good rapport with Government bodies, NGOs, other quasi-governmental bodies.
Key Result Areas (Metrics used to review the performance)
- Reports on the outcomes of all fundraising efforts, and provide updates on progress/status and cost-benefit analyses.
- To ensure agreed yearly goals and expenditure is kept within the agreed set budget.
- To ensure compliance to internal onboarding procedures for NGO Project partners, including due diligence, contracts and scope of work, monitoring and evaluation process, fund disbursements
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of corporate social responsibility and corporate giving programs.
- Interest in the education and Health Sector and vast knowledge of local community.
- Exposure of working with Government bodies, NGOs, Skill development Training partners, other industries / corporates,
- Must be a self-starter and can work independently.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Superior oral and written communication skills. Tact and good judgment in confidential situations and ability to interact professionally with senior management.
Qualification: Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Management
Experience: Should have minimum of 8-10 years of work experience in Development Sector / Skill Development / with an ability to manage internal coordination with Legal, Business, HR, Admin teams, among others.
