Position Title: Project Manager

Location: New Delhi with travel to project locations

Duration of Position: One year initially (extendable based on the performance of the incumbent or need of the project)

We are a Research and Consultancy organization, working in the social development space. Our clients are international NGOs, Government departments, UN agencies, and companies. We provide consultancy services – research studies, M&E, strategy development, project management, and documentation, on issues of health, education, gender, child rights, livelihoods, and rural development. Job responsibilities

Coordination/Management of projects

• Coordinate and support the design, planning, implementation, and monitoring of research and evaluation studies
• Monitor project implementation to ensure timely and effective completion; and budget management
• Ensure requisite technical support as required and work effectively with teams
• Bring new learning and innovation to enable a “learning organization”
• Disseminate and promote the learning and knowledge from assignments to the wider community

Business development

• Support proposal development, if needed, given skill levels
• Represent the organization in client meetings and forums and enable a good client management system 
• Support other organizational development initiatives

Qualifications

• Applicants must have a post-graduate degree in a relevant discipline, from a recognized institution

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in specifically managing research and evaluation assignments
• Knowledge, understanding and/or experience of having worked on social development issues, is essential

Essential Skills and Competencies

• Experience of having developed quantitative and qualitative tools, having managed field team and data collection activities are a must
• Ability, skills, and familiarity with Survey CTO would be an advantage
• Ability and skills in quantitative (STATA) or qualitative analysis, is a must
• Conversant in English, and ability to undertake report writing
• Willingness to work with timelines; ability to execute tasks efficiently
• Work effectively with a team
