- Provide operational oversight of work at ground level in Himachal Pradesh/ Telangana
- Provide program management support to the team for effective, timely, successful and impactful implementation of the program. Responsible for program delivery, review implementation, monitoring within the agreed standards
- Work with other partners for on ground implementation of the program
- Lead on reporting both internal and external teams, in accordance with the program M&E framework and support the M&E team to track program progress
- Identify and evaluate potential risks related to the implementation of the program and take necessary steps to include risk mitigation in program reviews and design
- Ensure the spending is within the budgeted limits and the financial policies are adhered to
- Travel extensively to study sites and coordinate with other stakeholders in implementing the program
- Build and maintain strong relationships with state health departments, health professionals and stakeholders in the state.
- Support with the donor visits
- Perform or assume other duties as needed by the team and/or assigned by the Health Director
- A Postgraduate degree in Social Work/Education/Sociology/Social sciences/Public health.
- 4-5 years of work experience in and ability to plan, implement and evaluate large health/ social sector programs
- Proven ability to network and establish collaborative relationships with different stakeholders in the state
- Good understanding and practical experience of implementing surveys related to public health
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English and local (Himachal Pradesh/Telangana) language
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make sound operational decisions
- Strong team player able to work under own initiative
- Willingness to travel extensively
- Proficient in MS Office tools and Internet

- Minimum Salary: 600000
