Position: Manager/Senior Manager- Programs

Location: Mumbai

Qualification and Experience: Medical Degree (MBBS- MD, BAMS, BHMS) with MPH or MSW with 8 - 10 years of work experience in public health programs

Responsibilities
✦ Work on the delivery of the public Health System Strengthening program with speed and accuracy
✦ Provide support to big teams of multiple programs on day-to-day operations across various components.
✦ Develop program work plans (project, annual) and MLE plans along with the MLE team for successful project execution
✦ Liaise with government organizations and Primary/secondary/ tertiary health facilities for– seeking permissions, sharing updates, conducting follow-ups.
✦ Implementation of community event/s in coordination with field staff, gross root level NGOs.
✦ Map public health sector opportunities for organization- keep him/herself informed on the policies of GOI and work with the Program Director to develop robust proposals.
✦ Develop SOPs for existing and new programs and technical briefs on various subjects for wider circulation.
✦ Work with the Program Director for peer review publications – atleast 3 publications to be submitted to a reputed journal in year 1
✦ Collate, report and document monthly progress of the program to be shared in monthly review meetings.
✦ Coordination with Procurement & Logistic team and/vendors for timely procurement/delivery of consumables, collaterals etc.

Qualifications and experience: 
✦ Medical Degree (MBBS- MD, BAMS, BHMS) with MPH or MSW with 8 - 10 years of work experience in public health programs
✦ Supervisory experience of managing teams of a range of professionals – from grass root health workers to highly qualified professionals and handling 2-3 projects simultaneously
✦ Experience of working with Govt authorities in urban areas
✦ Publications in reputed journals – first or second author
✦ Understanding of various research methodologies and statistics
✦ Proficiency in MS- Office and SPSS ( desired)
✦ Fluency in spoken and written English, Marathi and Hindi
