Position: Assistant Manager
Organization: SOS Children’s Villages
Location: Delhi
Areas of Responsibility:
Social Media Strategic: (15%)
- Devise strategies to grow the SOS Children’s Villages community on social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn etc.
- Be creative and develop engaging social media content that’s aligned with the SOS CVI brand.
Digital Fundraising: (55%)
- Devise and execute fundraising campaigns to garner revenues and ROI’s as per the business plan.
- Handle SOS India’s crowdfunding platform.
- Measure the success of every social media campaign across Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn etc. with deep understanding of social media metrics and data analysis, balanced with driving new audience.
- growth Use social media to drive awareness of and traffic to key stories on SOS CVI Website.
- Work closely with the Digital agency to drive the deliverables as set in the digital plan.
- Work with content, product and the larger sales and marketing teams to deliver on social media calendar and drive key metrics on social media.
- Engage in “social listening” for where people are mentioning SOS CVI across communities and social media channels – including on partner-owned communities. Answer questions and provide relevant content (blog posts, etc).
- Coordination with Telecalling and other teams 50%
- Engage with users/prospects on social media including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn.
- Facilitate knowledge and resource sharing to ensure a high bar for social execution across highly distributed teams, channels and cities.
Digital Tie-ups (25%):
- Fundraising Tie-ups with digital brands and e-commerce companies.
- Create proposals for digital tie-ups.
- Look for new and innovative avenues of digital fundraising through collaboration with digital companies.
Influencer Marketing (5%):
- Account identification.
- Build and maintain relationships with Influencers.
- Execute Fundraising campaigns with Social Media Influencers.
Educational/ Technical knowledge:
- You are a storyteller at heart who loves conversations and technology. You possess great writing skills with a portfolio of blog posts and/or social media handles we can access and read.
- You Should have 8+ years of experience as a community and social media manager in multi-channel content creation and ideation for a B2C brand directly or at an agency.
- You have in-depth knowledge of and experience in implementing online and social media marketing best practices and possess exceptional skills in advocating various internal and external audiences.
- Preferably, should have experience in digital fundraising.
Working conditions:
Posted at National Office, Vasant kunj. Willingness to travel.
Education:
Master’s degree / Diploma in a field with relevance to the position. Must have a knack for writing.
Experience:
Preferably with an experience of 5-6 years with a minimum experience of 1-2 years in a non-profit organization.
Languages:
Excellent communication skills (English and Hindi). Must have significant and proven writing, presentation and people management skills.
Competencies:
You should be a good team player, you should have good interpersonal skills
