Key Responsibilities

● Design, develop, implement, test, and operate large-scale, high-volume, high-performance data

structures for analytics and Reporting.

● Develop tools and interface for sourcing, demand planning, and merchandising team for

better control mechanism and easier decision making,

● Interface with business customers, gathering requirements, and delivering complete reporting

solutions.

● Interface with business and Ops groups to gather data and metrics requirements. Deep dive

into business metrics to identify and suggest improvement areas

● Develop and own product adoption metrics via clickstream dashboard for DF pages on VC

● Develop real-time tracking tools and dashboards for DF performance reporting, managing &

troubleshooting node launch pipeline

● Develop automated, scalable analytical solutions for large-scale, business-critical problems.

For eg: building a self-service tool for category managers to assess the health of DF business

● Translate analytic insights into concrete, actionable recommendations for business or

product improvements. Work with several internal teams to drive action on recommendations.

● The individual will not just own the analysis but also driving adoption and results through

stakeholder collaboration.

● Support strategic data analysis requests, prioritizing based on business needs

Requirements

● Strong SQL, Python, and R skills,

● Strong in Data Warehousing and Data Modelling concepts

● HDFS, Hive, Oozie, Airflow, MapReduce, Spark.

● Programming languages - Python, Java, Scala, etc.

● Experience in building ETL Data Pipelines

● Performance Troubleshooting and Tuning

● 5+ years of experience with a bachelors degree in computer science preferred
