Position: Product Manager

Job description:
1. To formulate products in the top six portfolios of the organization along with business and market.
2. To develop product-pricing strategies in a green field sector.
3. To understand and identify clear market segments & consumers the product will address, like Governments, private sector, non-profit organisations etc.
4. To determine product-positioning strategies that best identify with the chosen market segment.
5. To study market demographics and identify channels to promote these products for maximum reach.
6. To own the complete product lifecycle and track its growth stages. To establish exit/ retire strategies for the product once it is mature.
7. To be the product evangelist, own P&L and build awareness and understanding of the product.
8. To make sense of data to determine market interest. To build the case for developing a product idea and initiate cross functional buy-in.
9. To work with SPOCs across functions to develop product specific communication and build marketing around the product.
10. To track feedback and build it back into the product structure and align with market needs or interest.
11. To work with the program & publishing team to: -
•Understand impact of the product and realign them from the perspective of the market
•Manage and track product interest on the CRM and convert them to leads
•Run and manage product launches, campaigns, touch points and product visibility in relevant areas. Track cross- and upsell ideas as well
•Report regularly on product performance and insights on change required
•Benchmark and track productization in the sector

Experience:
Minimum 7 years of total work experience of which at least 2 years of leading / owning product management. Experience in service sectors such as Communications, Aviation, Hospitality or Consulting.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree or equivalent in relevant field
