Job Responsibilities:

Job Summary:

The role is for managing procurement for construction of Azim Premji  University campus at Bhopal. Experience in handling procurements for such similar large projects is necessary.

· Developing procurement/contract schedule showing the various contractual stages and discuss with respective proponent in agreement as to establish schedule

· Vendor Identification and short listing through the process of Pre-qualification and sending RFQ/RFP’s

· Preparation of Budgets – Quantity Analysis, Analysis of scope of work, Cost Analysis, Technical valuations for various projects.

· Evaluation of comparative statements based on financial capability, commercial and technical considerations to commence the negotiation process

·Preparing Tender Reports and vendor recommendation to management for the final closure of contract. Prepare and submit reports at regular intervals to head of contracts on detailed information of each contract and tender process, status.

Post Contract:

· Preparing the Contract Documents/agreements, drafting of contract terms and conditions in line with FIDIC conditions of Contract.

· Preparation of Work orders/Purchase Orders.

· Measuring & valuing the variations in scope of work and finalizing the rates for non- tendered items.

· Processing of change order/amendment orders upon receipt of purchase request.

·  Coordinating effectively with Clients & vendors. Reviewing and monitoring contactor performance.

·  Responsibilities include Budget tracking, revision and contract management

·   Understanding of the different requirements for different types of contracts such as support, services, maintenance, procurement of products /services

  • Must have superior communications skills (both oral and written)
  • Ability to anticipate informational needs of diverse audiences and tailor communications appropriately
  • Integrity and strong focus on compliance with internal standards and policies and ability to proactively provide guidance to contract management personnel or internal customers as needed
  • Experience – 8 to 12 years
