Position Summary:

SKV is seeking an experienced and a self-motivated person for the post of Program Coordinator who will look after the overall management and coordination of the organization’s programs. This position requires frequent travel to other project areas outside of Gujarat to follow up the work. Besides that the post also requires a person who has good event organizing skills.

S/He will work mainly with the director. S/He will also assist the Office Manager in overseeing day-to-day office administrative and communication tasks.

Responsibilities:

❖ Assisting Director in institution building

❖ Overall management of the institution

Specific duties and responsibilities include:

Management of systems:

• Implement existing systems, analyze gaps and help develop new systems
•  Oversee day to day functioning of the institution:

-Manage and mobilize the staff and service providers of the institute

– Assist the Director in financial planning and budgeting

– Maintain hospitality for faculty, guests and the resident students with the support of office manager.

-Arrange travel for staff and guests as needed

Communication and documentation:

● Maintain address database of organization and e-news communication.

● Analyze feedback from students, faculty and jury, and work with the Director to make and implement necessary modification.

● Organize Reports on Special Events

● Translating into English and preparing a compiled report of all the seminars/meetings and final jury.

Educational aspects:

● Manage the enrollment of new students in coordination with the Director and Office Manager.

● Prepare and facilitate an orientation class for new students with the help of permanent faculty

● Design and facilitate a sales analysis class for the design students after the exhibition.

● Provide translation related services as and when required.

● Manage Field Trips for the students.

Educational aspects:
