Essential requirements
Experience in research and/or implementation/action projects related to public health especially those involving non-communicable diseases, community health topics, primary healthcare in remote/rural populations.
Desirable requirements
Prior experience of working on issues related to tribal health; fluency in speaking Kannada.
Job Description
This position is based in the IPH Bengaluru office
The candidate will be required to stay for days-weeks as needed in Chamarajanagar district; can be located elsewhere but must be ready for extensive travel and fieldwork in the district as needed.
The duration of the above-mentioned post will be for 12 months. Based on the performance and project requirements, the contract may be extended for another 12 months.
A fixed fellowship of Rs. 70,000 (CTC) per month as per IPH salary policy.
