The primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
A. FUNDRAISING:
Resource Mobilization & Execution
- Support to the CEO in developing fundraising plans, strategies and goals and ensuring its timely execution.
- Research on best fundraising practices in the sector and identify new creative ideas on resource mobilization and identifying different fundraising channels and partners.
- Organizing and managing online fundraising campaigns, in-kind support and offline events for funds generation and visibility.
- Networking at events, meetings and presenting the organizational work and impact along with the Founder/CEO.
Documentation
- Preparing donor reports by consolidating all the necessary data and information from the team as required.
- Creating fundraising proposals and pitch presentations for new donors.
- Maintaining and updating a donor database and individual donor files.
- Preparing and sending 80G receipts to donors with support from HR & Admin manager.
Donor Engagement
- Building donor relationships and maintaining effective communication with them. Preparing a donor calendar and sending best wishes emailers during special occasions and festival periods.
- Seeking and sharing creative gift ideas or goodie bags for the donors and implementing some of these ideas.
B. COMMUNICATIONS:
Planning & Execution
- Designing a communications and branding strategy and annual plan with milestones along with the CEO and ensuring its execution in a highly efficient and timely manner.
- Networking with various stakeholders such as students, parents, schoolteachers, education officers to get the right inputs and information for the communication of the program and its impact.
- Reaching out to interns and mentors for support and advice on the communication and fundraising activities.
Collaterals & Documentation
- Design and review all the collaterals and documents in a standard format/ template and ensure that the right message is communicated across different stakeholders.
- Creating and sharing stories of change, writing impactful case studies and identifying the right platforms to share these stories.
- Undertaking testimonials from different stakeholders like partners, donors and students.
- Preparing engaging and inspiring quarterly newsletters, blogs/articles and annual reports that reflects the vision and value of the work undertaken.
- Review and update of the organization’s website regularly.
- Creating pitch documents and presentations for recruitment of Fellows in coordination with the HR manager.
Social Media & PR
- Managing an online digital resource database and a highly good collection of a photo library depicting the best moments and projects captured by the team
- Identifying and organizing different digital campaigns, events for speaking and sharing the organization’s impactful work.
- Handling all the social media handles, identifying and reaching out to the target audience, using the right platforms to share and undertaking data analytics for evaluating and utilizing the most effective channels.
- Creating engaging and inspiring social media content, uploading it regularly and engaging the online community.
- Creating a PR and media engagement plan along with press articles and press kits for events and releases.
- Networking with the partners who have synergies and ensuring visibility and awareness about the organization’s work across the sector.

- Strong execution ability to manage the day-to-day tasks in a timely and efficient way.

- Planner and self-starter, taking initiative and responsibility in ensuring that the desired results and outcomes are achieved.

- Excellent verbal and written communication especially for content creation and documentation skills.
- Strong relationship building, interpersonal effectiveness and networking ability to interact and engage various external stakeholders and the team.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work, using creative thinking and multi-tasking along with ensuring meeting deadlines especially with donors.
- Strong work ethics, ability to work independently and being a team player and problem-solving as and when required.
Eligibility Criteria
- Indian citizen
- Age: Above 21 years
- Language requirement: English & Hindi
- Work experience: 1 – 2 years in relevant role
- Minimum education requirement: None
Required Skills
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Basic video editing skills
- Design apps such as Canva
- Ability to operate work related software
Position Details
- Joining: April 2022
- Hybrid: Remote + Office
- Work hours: Monday – Saturday, 9 am – 5 pm
- Salary: From 3.6 – 4.5 Lakhs per year
- Office Location – Vaholi village, About 40 minutes from Kalyan station, Thane, MH
