Key Accountabilities

  • Form human rights strategies and tactics for the assigned business and major supply chains within the assigned human rights topic area. 
  • Develop supply chain policies, strategies and action plans to deploy company-wide 
  • Interact with customers directly and indirectly to ascertain needs and partner with commercial teams in developing and delivering solutions.
  • Communicate policies and objectives to suppliers, including farmers, with the purpose of extending our supply chain policies and requirements through our suppliers.
  • Identify and work with external partners like nongovernmental organizations, foundations, universities and government offices for program design and implementation
  • Develop, maintain and apply industry leading expertise in human rights as it applies to the relevant supply chains or geographies.
  • Represent the company in external stakeholder forums and media in matters related to designated human rights salient issues. 
  • Provide expert thought leadership in your field and work with limited direction, using additional research and interpretation to identify issues or problems. You may provide direction to supporting team members and be a strategic contributor.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Technical knowledge in human rights
  • Minimum of six years of related work experience
  • Fluent in English

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in forced and child labor management systems and frameworks.
  • Minimum of 10 years of related work experience
  • Proven knowledge and practical experience in addressing forced labor and child labor issuesacross global organizations and supply chains.
