JOB ROLE FOR RESEARCH AND DOCUMENTATION SPECIALIST

Strengthening the CSR Strategy 2025 is designed to promote a more effective, responsive and coordinated approach to inclusive development through evidence based planning. The CSR strategy is now aligned with business impacts and main three main areas have been identified 1) Water governance and management strengthen function’s capacity to produce high quality data on water conservation issues and trends focusing on making water positive villages and inclusive development, 2) Livelihood - institutionalize central monitoring and evaluation system, 3) Social Inclusion - Analysis of evidence and existing Govt. policies and schemes to inform locations to enhance adoption levels of Govt. Schemes in the villages. 

Duties and Responsibilities

The Research & Documentation Specialist will work under the direct supervision of the Head CSR. The incumbent will have the following responsibilities:

  • Assist HEAD CSR to prepare quarterly process reports, annual progress reports, CSR & Sustainability Committee Meeting presentations, CSR location and Head Office decks.
  • Prepare communication strategy and tools for all the three CSR focus areas
  • Work closely with the HEAD CSR to strengthen results management and reporting;
  • Ensure effective communications, visibility and knowledge management;
  • Support project team in preparing concept notes and other project related documents;
  • Support CSR team in organizing and managing seminars, workshops, press conferences;
  • Produce reports and stories of the seminars/workshops organised by the project;
  • Ensure proper process documentation and preparing project closure reports
  • Research for bringing innovations in the CSR programs 
  • Prepare and edit press releases, programme related progress reports and documents;
  • Perform any other duties assigned by  HEAD CSR

Required Skills & Experience:

Education:

  • The candidate should have a Master’s degree in mass communications/ journalism / research or other relevant fields. 

Experience:

  • At three to five years relevant working experience working with Corporate Foundations / Corporate Trusts / International development organisations/ Consultancy groups / Freelancers ;
  • Some working experience in the media will be an asset;
  • Some experience in audio visuals will also be an asset;
  • Candidate should have an extensive experience in research and diffusion strategies and techniques, reporting, documentation, publication, and audio-visual material preparation in relation to conservation and development fields;
  • Candidate should possess excellent writing, editing, and speaking skills in both English and Hindi;
  • Candidate should be well versed in the latest electronic publishing and graphics methods.

Language:

  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Hindi languages.
