Position: International expert

Reaching out to the larger network as we are urgently looking for an international expert for a "Team Leader, Social Protection" position for a multi-country (Asia and Pacific) assignment. The expected engagement would be of 6 months.
Request applicants or in case they are referring someone, please make sure that "Social protection" experience must include these three main categories: "social assistance, social insurance, and labor market programs".
Other requirements are:
1. Minimum 10 years’ experience overseeing and preparing social protection, labor market, skills for jobs, and economic assessments,
2. Ability to undertake comparative and cross-country analysis and research,
3. Experience of policy-oriented research work,
4. Experience in assessing labor market policies and programs and education sector is an asset (specific knowledge of the particular strand and extensive experience in Asia at operational and knowledge-based work),
5. Knowledge and experience of specific country-related developments in the area of labor markets and skills development (familiarity with the Asia and the Pacific region), and
6. Familiarity with economic and labor market developments across a cross section of Asia and the Pacific.
