PURPOSE OF ASSIGNMENT

UNICEF is seeking a consultant for C4D Unit Field office Lucknow which is in accordance with the strategy for supporting the priority of ending child marriage. This proposed consultant in 2021-22 will assist UNICEF in:

• Designing, implementing and monitoring SBCC strategies in conjunction with state-wide partners such as WCD, UPSRLM, NHM, Education, Youth platforms (Bharat Scouts & Guides, NCC, NSS), Faith based organisations and;
• Support Capacity development of key stakeholders, particularly DWCD, UPSRLM, Bharat Scouts and Guides, NSS & NCC for intensive parents, adolescents and community mobilization.

The position is in line with the CPAP (2018-22) and is approved in TA plan (Row number #43) to support C4D/CP output #5.a.c. The present terms of reference include the work expected from the consultant for 2021-22.
