Job Summary:
The Community Engagement Manager reports to the Chief Operating Officer and oversees a range of community relations, marketing, communications, and supervisory activities. As a vital member of the Foundation’s management team, this position also supports the volunteer program and other special projects
Responsibilities:
Community Engagement: (60%)
● Collaborate with Chief Operating Officer to develop and pursue initiatives that align with the Foundation strategic plans for Indian Muslim women
● Develop and manage the community outreach calendar
● Facilitate events and meetings through management of task lists, agendas, and outcomes
● Manage and host community engagement events and activities in colleges/universities/companies that help to create a community to increase our reach to Indian Muslim women
● Provide feedback on programming types (based on member makeup) and evaluate events based on attendance, satisfaction, and impact.
Social media strategy and Implementation: (40%)
● Develop social media strategies and campaign ideas
● Manage presence in social networking sites for LedBy
● Manage the social media associate and ensure daily, weekly, and monthly social media calendar is implemented effectively
