Position: Coordinator

Location: Jharkhand 

Salary: 30k per month for six months.

Duration: Six months initially

 Roles and Responsibilities of the RAs 

The RA will be responsible for coordinating the project, training and mentoring the volunteers on a daily basis and monitoring the calls and the data to ensure project goals are being achieved.
- The RA will be given elaborate training on the policies along with the process adopted by the Jharconnect team for supporting workers. The specific responsibilities of the RA would include the following:
- Calling Workers and Assessing their Needs and Concerns
- Coordinating with Government and Civil Society partners to ensure workers are able to access their entitlements
- Coordinating with Nagarik Sahayata Kendras in Jharkhand to support workers by helping them file applications, submitting them to relevant authorities, filing complaints where required etc.
- Popularising the Jharconnect Helpline Number among rural workers in Jharkhand through the partner organisations
- Coordinating with partner organisations in Jharkhand to collect data about workers who need support and passing it on to volunteers in order to update the online workers’ database. 
- Training and Supervising the volunteers as well as local activists in Jharkhand partnering with Jharconnect
Analysing the data to monitor team performance and take corrective action
- Report errors in data entry and support volunteers in preventing such errors

 Eligibility for the post of RA: 
- The RA should be passionate about creating an equal society and the rights of the marginalised communities and have values which are aligned with those of the University.
- The candidate should, typically, have experience in supporting rural communities access entitlements under social policies
- The candidate should be able to travel to villages and government offices in Jharkhand when required in order to build and strengthen partnerships with agencies and organisations in Jharkhand
