The renewable appointment is for a period of three years. Qualification:  A doctoral degree or a Ph.D. in economics

Experience: 3 years experience in economics

The ideal candidate should have

• high grades in undergraduate and graduate degree courses.
• a doctoral degree or a Ph.D. in economics or related field and, or a minimum of 3 years of proven research experience in economics;
• a solid experience in quantitative methods/tools for economic impact assessments; preference will be for experience in setting up and solving empirical CGE models;
• a good knowledge of statistical packages (e.g. R, STATA) and other programming languages used by economic modelers (e.g. GAMS, GEMPACK); and 
• a proven technical and publication record.
