Position: Program Coordinator

Job Responsibilities
Program Management and Coordination:
- Coordinate and collaborate with Miyamoto’s country-based teams and technical program staff across various countries in the region to align coherence of activities and deliverables across program functions.
- Support the development and implementation of program work plans and budgets, ensuring donor compliance and operational excellence when handling administrative, programmatic and operational tasks, including contracting.
- Effectively stay abreast of donor policies, procedures and updates including updating team on applicable local policies per local laws.
- Actively collaborate with the finance team to summarize and prepare budgets and projections. As needed by the team, support to monitor actual expenditure levels against budgets and funding obligations.
- Proactively Identify systematic and/or administrative gaps and needs, and help develop operational or compliance systems to support multi-country program implementation.
Program Development and Communication:
- Support the quality oversight and editing of final reports and submissions.
- Actively support program development and expansion efforts through research, writing concept notes and proposals.
- Assist in the execution and delivery of programmatic events, including pre, during and post logistical matters for successful event delivery and operational follow up.
- Support the development of effective marketing and communication materials for programs and for Miyamoto’s work in the region, such as success stories, and social media campaigns.
- Interest and ability to collect and analyze program data to support monitoring and evaluation functions, as needed by program team.
Education Qualifications/ Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in International Relations or International Development, Disaster Management, Business Administration or related field.
- Data-driven interests to work across budget, programmatic and reporting requirements.
- Self-starter with the with ability to take initiative as a part of a global team.
- Meticulous and detail oriented to support high quality final deliverables and activities.
- At least 3 years’ work experience within the international development and humanitarian assistance sector.
- Prior experience working on USAID awards with knowledge of USAID rules and regulations is highly desired.
- Prior experience working with the World Bank, Asian Development Bank and other multilateral partners highly desired.
- Excellent skills with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and Powerpoint.
- Excellent communicator with strong writing skills; professional fluency (reading, writing, speaking) in English is a must.
- Interest in working in a fast-paced, quickly growing and dynamic work environment.
- Creative, resourceful, responsive and proven multi-tasker with excellent organization and planning skills, as well as the ability to be flexible, problem solve independently and work well across a variety of functions and needs.
