Programme Development
- Work closely with Coordinator, Communities and other team members to contribute ideas to build and strengthen community enterprises
- Promotion of livelihood diversification of communities in farm and non-farm enterprises.
- Develop an understanding of the NTFP collection and sale/ marketing practices, livestock management practices, crop cultivation and agriculture and horticulture value chains
- Assist in developing plans for upgradation of existing value chains, develop training modules and other awareness material for the community entrepreneurs including on sustainable collection practices and climate resilient agriculture
Programme Implementation
- Assist the Field Officer, Animators and implementing partner NGOs to liaise closely with government departments, PRI committee, NGOs, and other resource organizations to promote community and household linkages with under relevant schemes and programmes
- Facilitate cross-learning and dissemination of the best practices in agroecological techniques in project villages. Increase outreach and accessibility of Agro Service that will support farmers for technology promotion and market linkages.
- Work together with the departments of Rural Development, Agriculture Dept, ATMA, Agro Cell, PG Agri. Research Stations and Forest, at district & block level and also village level workers in facilitating the backward and forward linkages for agriculture value chain initiatives.
- Building synergies and convergence between government schemes / plans as well as community plans and those of partner NGOs.
- Coordinate with local administrative officials e.g. DC, Forest Department, DD Agriculture, Fishery, KVK, Animal Husbandary, Zila Panchayat (PRI), and other departments. Stakeholders to leverage their programmes and activities
- Share information, data, and issues that need advocacy efforts at the district and state level with the Coordinator, Communities and other team members.
Networking & Advocacy:
- Building synergies and convergence between government schemes/plans as well as community plans and those of partner NGOs.

Qualifications, Experience and competencies required:
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Agriculture/ Rural Development or marketing-related subject from a reputed University in India
- Minimum 2 years of experience in rural development/ community mobilization.
- Candidates with work experience on marketing of NTFP, agriculture/ horticulture and other products made by rural communities/community enterprises will be given preference
