Technical knowledge on Health Programs inclusive of innovations and PPP models within the sector & Health structure
Sound understanding of Research cum M & E principles, data analytics & representation
Proposal development & representation Training and Development
Language Proficiency: English and Hindi
Position Expectations:
The incumbent will be responsible for Program and Quality management. The individual will need to manage and deliver independently and proactively in a fast-paced work environment. Critical understanding of Government health programs, implementation structures, PPP models, health policies and guidelines will help the person deliver effectively. Exposure in implementation of innovations centered public health programs, clinical assessments and campaigns.

The key responsibilities to be performed by the Program Specialist includes the following:

Looking for a data analyst/ data scientist for an ongoing CDC supported project , supporting National TB Elimination Program . Project is being implemented through partner organisation SHARE India.

SHARE INDIA a not-for-profit society society has been registered under the Andhra Pradesh Public Societies Registration act in 1986. SHARE INDIA is currently implementing a project aimed at providing Technical Assistance (TA) to the National Tuberculosis Elimination Program (NTEP) through its projects covering such as infection prevention and control (IPC), LatentTB pediatric TB diagnosis and DR TB.The above activities are funded by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC)
About the project: Expand ELEVATE
The Expand ELEVATE (E2) project (Engaging Local Experts in Validating and Analysing TB-data to End TB)
1. Project Management:
• To work in close coordination with the Data Analyst placed at CTD and build rapport with the NTEP staff and consultants at CTD.
• To work in close coordination with the Data Analysts placed at states and build rapport with the state/district NTEP staff.
• Facilitate conducting needs assessment for all the states and understand their local terminology for NTEP.
• Facilitate conducting a baseline of cascade of all TUs
• Develop training modules
• Routinely analyse and compile state-level data to keep a track of the improvement of program performance and patient management at state.
• To travel (about 25% time) to select districts and states for follow up support throughout the project period.
• To perform validation and quality assurance visits in selected states using standardized tools in coordination with the state DAs and NTEP staff.
• Assist in conducting intermediate and endline evaluation of intervention and non- intervention districts and TUs.
• All activities shall be held in close coordination and planning with the CTD Nikshay and Monitoring and Evaluation team and DAs placed at states.
Qualifications Required:
• PhD OR post graduate degree in Public Health/Health Administration/ Statistics from a recognized university in India.
• Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience with strong acumen of research, M&E techniques, project management techniques and various tools used in data analytics (quantitative & qualitative)/data visualization /creation of dashboards (Advanced Excel, SPSS, Power BI, Tableau, AtlasTi etc.)
• Fluency in English, Hindi and the local language is desirable.
• Ability to converse clearly, mentor and work closely with other DAs and state and district NTEP staff, in demanding timelines.
The position requires extensive travel within selected states.
Remuneration will be at par with market standards and will be based on experience and qualifications.
