Job Description / Responsibilities:

Senior Manager, Programme Development will be responsible to design and develop proposals/concept notes under the four thematic areas of work as outlined above based on the requirement of donors, for funding. S/he will also be responsible for completing applications for awards for excellence - in consultation with other team members and in close coordination with relevant departments of Smile. The incumbent will be responsible to work based on leads for funding opportunities under CSR and other national international donor agencies.

Requirements:

A Post Graduate Degree or Diploma preferably in social sciences, development studies, social work, rural development/management from a reputed institute/ university

Flair for writing with good command over both written and spoken English

Sound understanding of development projects and programs specially on education, Health, skill development and women and women empowerment

At least 5 years’ experience in high value proposal writing to national and international donors

Familiarity with concepts of results and outcome framework like Result Based Management (RBM), Log frame, Analysis, Resource Based Planning and Project budgeting etc.
Desired work experience: 5-8 years
