Qualifications and experience requirements:
Master’s degree in commerce or Finance/MBA (Finance); additional qualification in Finance, Accounts, Finance MIS, Audit, Chartered accounting, Operations will be added advantage.
Minimum 8-10 years of professional experience in finance; additional experience in the procurement of goods & services is desirable also experience in operating finance software such as ERP, SAP etc
Scope of Work:
Support with Financial Management:
- Lead the planning, budgeting and management of financial aspects in project activities including the preparation of the procurement plans for all 6 projects
- Maintain supporting documents of funds and activities and information for the audits with support from Account assistant
- Maintenance of the internal expenditures control system to ensure that requisitions are supported by proper approvals and payments are processed upon receipt of final invoices and deliverables
- Liaise with Donor on a regular basis for exchange of information and documents.
- Preparation of payment vouchers for the project, check their accuracy and processing in CEE financial system, creation of requisitions in the system, making budget checks and receipting in the system
- Knowledge, skills and experience in procurement is desirable
- Support project team in ensuring full compliance of administrative activities with CEE rules, regulations, and policies with admin assistant
- Maintenance of the filing system ensuring safekeeping of confidential materials and maintain data base of all stakeholders through Admin assistant
- Carry out any other work assigned by the supervisor.
