Job Description/Responsibilities

As a graphic designer/communications designer, you will support the electric mobility team and the communications team at WRI India. The position requires someone who is creative, is a strong visual artist, and is meticulous and enthusiastic. An interest in environmental issues and green mobility is highly desirable.

• Understanding WRI India brand guidelines and adapting them to deliver design projects in a timely and effective manner.
• Working closely with the research team and understanding how best to present findings and insights in a visually appealing and accessible manner catering to different audience sets.
• Coordinating/supervising vendors to produce videos, AVs, external design requirements etc.
• Nature of design projects for -
• Print: Brochures, reports, newsletters and infographics
• Digital: Social media graphics, simple GIFs and videos, interactive presentations and website graphics
• Events: Collaterals for events such as backdrop, standees, posters, booklets, flyers, leaflets, books, calendars, invitation cards and merchandise

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• Master’s Degree/Bachelor’s degree in design/communications
• 5-7 years of demonstrable experience with reputable companies/projects.
• Strong graphic design skills on Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign are compulsory.
• Well-versed in presentation applications such as Power Point.
• Additional skill sets in basic video editing, photo documentation and template-based software such as Canva will be appreciated.
• Ability to work end-to-end on larger design projects independently as well as through collaboration with relevant stakeholders
• Highly organized and ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
• Strong communication skills, including written and oral communication.
• An ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
