Job Profile

The candidate will be required to:


• Identify and design high impact research areas on civil society, philanthropy and corporate social responsibility
• Undertake research studies (desk based and field based) and communicate research findings to the stakeholders
• Represent PRIA’s work on civil society, philanthropy and corporate social responsibility in various national and international platforms
• Build a professional network with civil society, philanthropic and CSR initiatives, and other stakeholders
• Design and lead high impact programme on civil society capacity building

Competencies Required:

• Thorough understanding of civil society, capacity building, training and the work of philanthropic and CSR initiatives
• A team player having ability to work independently under given timelines
• Strong research and analytical skills – ability to quickly absorb wide-ranging materials, analyse information and produce high quality reports
• Excellent skills in doing research with the community and other stakeholders
• Excellent skills in designing, facilitating and managing capacity building programmes
• Excellent inter-personal, networking and communication skills
• Strong verbal and writing skills in English

Qualification and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Development Studies/Management, Business Administration (with specialisation in Human Resource or Organisational Behaviour) or related subject
• Minimum of 4-5 years of work experience on civil society capacity building, philanthropy and CSR
