Position: Senior Program Manager

Location: Flexible (Delhi/Bangalore/Mumbai Preferred)
Responsibilities
1. Program Management
● Lead Program management and execution for successful on-ground program implementation through liaison and coordination with partner organizations.
● Manage a cross-sectoral team by establishing program goals, supervising task execution and monitoring project progress.
● Manage relationships with stakeholders at various levels and coordinate with continuous coordination for improved program performance.
● Travel to various states for stakeholder engagement and conduct in-person reviews of program implementation; participate in data synthesis and analysis; identify key insights, opportunities and mitigation strategies for programmatic decisions.
● Ensure high quality documentation of program data, activities and achievements to develop progress reports for submission to donors and process documentation.
2. Strategy Support
● Strategic positioning and representation of assignments and organizations in forums including workshops, conferences and meetings.
● Stay up-to-date on recent developments in the public health sector, identify gaps in current knowledge and maintain a personal development plan
● Develop high quality proposals to convert them into meaningful opportunities. Contribute to the implementation of Swasti business strategy. This includes developing opportunities with new and existing clients, tracking upcoming RFPs, leading proposal development teams, networking, etc in Swasti focused domain areas.
3. Training and Research
● Work closely with key stakeholders, professional bodies and private sector players to convene expert consultations to develop training modules
● Providing mentoring and professional development support to junior and mid-level program staff
Qualifications and experience
● A post-graduate in public health (A medical degree would be a plus)
● 8-9 years of RMNCH experience in programme modeling & implementation with a focus on project management, partnership development, donor management, stakeholder management, research and evaluation
● Demonstrated success in coordinating various stakeholders (private sector engagement would be highly relevant) and developing strong relationships in order to successfully achieve of program goals
● Excellent written and oral communications skills and confidence of understanding public health systems Skills
● Proficiency in languages (oral and written) - Hindi and English
● Proficiency in computers, basic software (MS Office)
● Strong analytical and writing skills
● Excellent oral communication and presentation skills
● Attention to detail
● Ability to learn quickly and solve problems in a creative manner
