Position: Community Health and Gender Officer

Role & Responsibility:  

The Community Health and Gender Officer will develop strategy for integration of SRH perspective into Disaster Management plan in consultation with BSDMA and government health institution (Sadar Hospital, PHC, APHC and SHC etc.). The Strategy must be outcome based SRH plan in disaster preparedness and response especially during flood. The role also entails support in creation of behavioral insight unit (BIU) for inclusion of SRH perspective at policy and action level on priority basis.

Key Deliverable:

a. She will be focal point for advocacy and policy framing SRH service during disaster response.

b. She will be responsible micro health planning of women welfare forum (WWF) member

c. She will be Liaison with APHC, PHC and district level health official

d. She will orient WWF member to be vocal on SRHR issues and Gender issues awareness

e. She will be responsible for developing material and discussion agenda related to SRHR issues for WWF.

f. She will be assisting the team leader in the state level advocacy.

She will be assign works as per requirement of the project.
