Position: Admin and Procurement Officer

Organization: I-Tech India 

Location: Delhi

Duties and Responsibilities

    • Responsible for procurements and support state level team/s on relevant processes (e.g., Requests for Proposals (RFP), Requests for Quotations (RFQ), bid evaluation criteria other competitive procurement tools) to ensure office needs are met, the organization obtains best value, and to ensure procurement processes are in line with organisational policies and procedures and remain fair, open and ethical.
    • Plan, organize and lead the bid solicitation process including drafting and issuing RFQ, RFP, developing bid evaluation criteria and guiding on processes involved.
    • Responsible for Office Asset Management: issuing/ handing over of equipment, asset movement, insurance of assets, asset disposal, maintaining asset status and maintenance of all organizational assets in the designated location/s.
    • Vendor management for equipment, supplies, printing services and maintenance of equipment under established guidelines.
    • Event Management: Manage conducting of meetings, trainings, seminars, conferences, events – booking/ finalizing of venue/ hotel/ facility/ centers as per the requirements under the guidance of the Line Manager.
    • Administrative management including logistical upkeep, payment of bills, visitor support, travel coordination.
    • Day to day office safety and security and oversight of housekeeping
    • Any other admin support to staff as requested
    • Any other task as assigned by the Line Manager.
  • Required Skills and Qualification:

    • Bachelor or higher degree in finance, accounting, or relevant field with minimum 3 years of related work experience
    • Experience with finance, administration and procurement processes
    • Computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel, Strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills
    • Fluency in written and spoken English
    • Ability to carry out actions in an efficient and timely manner
    • Track record of being a team player, high integrity, ability to deal with multiple tasks, flexibility and getting critical tasks completed on time
    • Experience of working in an NGO or non-profit organization preferred
