Job Description: Project Manager- Punjab/ Delhi -01

Key Responsibilities:

  • The Project Manager (PM)will be responsible for overall planning, managing and execution of the project activities under guidance of the Project Director/ Senior Management Team-SMT of SARD.
  • The Project Manager shall coordinate with the Donor for smooth implementation of the program under information to SMT.
  • The PM shall develop a Monthly Action Plan -MAP and get it approved by SARD SMT for the implementation of the project.
  • PM will submit a monthly milestone accomplishment report as against MAP
  • Ensure convergence with Government’s line departments for possible collaboration
  • Ensure visibility, dissemination of efforts of the team in appropriate forum at District and State level, print and social media platform
  • Participate in review cum planning meeting with the health department and also with other agencies to achieve the given target
  • Supervise, guide and support team members, including but not limited to the District Mobilization Coordinators (DMC), Block Mobilization Coordinators (BMC) and community volunteers to ensure smooth implementation of the project and maximum outreach of COVID-19 vaccination 
  • Provide on-job training/orientation to the project staff for smooth implementation of the project
  • Organize team meetings and meetings with government officials and other stakeholders, Ensure follow-up actions of meetings outcome.
  • Participate in awareness campaign and occasionally address community campaign along with team members
  • Contribute in bringing out communication material appropriate for the project mandates and outreach community 
  • Support the SARD SMT in addressing any donor related queries
  • Provide administrative and logistic support coordination to the team.
  • Execute any other task(s) assigned by the SARD SMT.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Post-Graduation (Preferable: Public Health/Social Work/Management) with a minimum of 06 (six) years of relevant experience.
  • Must have good English writing/comprehension skills and should have knowledge (speaking level) of Punjabi and Hindi.
  • Computer literate with good (working level) command of MS Office
  • Knowledge and experience of government systems and procedures would be desirable
  • Good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Highly capable of planning, organizing and implement of action plans with ability of multi-tasking.
  • The candidate applying for the position should be capable and willing to travel within the catchment area in Amritsar, Moga, Kapurthala, Fazilka, Firozepur, Tarn taran, Srimuktsar sahib. Should be able to work with the team based on the overall plan given by the SMT.
  • Should have sensitivity towards co-workers and the community.
  • Ability to resolve conflicts and keep the team performing to achieve results in a time bound manner.

Position 2

Job Description of Documentation Officer – 01

Location: Delhi

Salary and other benefits: Negotiable

Key Responsibilities:

  • To help in implementing Project related communication, documentation and information strategies.
  • Orient field staff on documentation requirements by sharing appropriate format and material and train them on reporting and periodically follow up to secure reports, verify its authenticity etc.
  • Undertake scheduled field visits to assess the efficiency of the data collection system and verify data and provide orientation/ training on Computerized MIS, Interpretation, analysis & Reporting to the project staff members.
  • Create a dash-board on the achievements with reference to starting point of the project on coverage and its periodical updation.
  • Review and verify monthly / quarterly field reports, case studies and generate a consolidated report based on the data collected for reporting to donors.
  • Support in programmatic evaluation plan and conduct an annual evaluation to assess organizational progress.
  • Responsible for all project-related documentation.
  • Responsible for ensuring all research-related activities
  • Designing the formats and procedures for quality improvement activity
  • Provide analysis of the indicators to support and enhance programming
  • Develop various analytical reports and documents for sharing and publication
  • Any other task assigned by the Senior Management Team-SMT.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Master’s Degree in any discipline preferably in mass communication, journalism, sociology, social work, anthropology and rural development
  • 3-years working experience in Research Documentation, data collation, analysis & Report Writing Work
  • Must have good Writing/Comprehension skills in the English Language
  • Should have sufficient knowledge/skills to use/work with computer-based tools
  • Ability to travel to the field locations as and when needed

Position 3

Job Description of District Mobilization Coordinator- 07

Location (one position in each district) : Amritsar, Moga, Kapurthala, Fazilka, Firozepur, Tarntaran, Srimuktsar Sahib

Salary and other benefits: Negotiable

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with health authorities including district administration, various government departments for mobilizing their support to extend COVID-19 vaccination outreach
  • Participate and do advocacy at the district level to increase the outreach of COVID-19 vaccination by meeting stakeholders
  • In collaboration with the field team, support Task Force meetings at the block level in developing and implementing Block social mobilization plan.
  • Supervise and provide feedback to BMC on planned activities, ensure field coordination of planned interventions by showcasing strong interpersonal and group communication skills to explain and demonstrate strategies to reach out to resistant/vulnerable constituents/unreached areas.
  • Liaise with appropriate government departments to address the gap of both doses of COVID-19 vaccination
  • Ensure effective implementation of State-supported IEC activities and other persuasive communication techniques for ensuring covid vaccination.
  • Ensure and secure support of the public & private sector (viz., Swachh Bharat Mission, ICDS etc) of the catchment area to address the issue of COVID-19 vaccination through continued liaison
  • Provide exhaustive formal orientation to team staff on how they strengthen the stakeholders.
  • Capacity building of the program staff for providing psycho-social support to affected families, mainly vulnerable, marginalized and migrant
  • Assist team in developing and implementation of monthly/fortnightly/weekly work-plan.
  • Supervise the implementation of the use of ICT Tool for message dissemination (promoting key messages especially for COVID-Appropriate Behaviour) using E platforms such as SMS, What's App, etc., with front line workers and stakeholders.
  • Prepare a block-wise plan for conducting the communication campaign for the awareness of COVID-19 vaccination through an e-Rickshaw/infotainment van in the intervention area under the guidance.
  • Timely tracking and addressing myths and misconceptions related to COVID-19 in coordination with the Community volunteers, stakeholders, and other community influencers. 
  • Follow up and list beneficiaries as per age and gender
  • Guide subordinates in troubleshooting in registration of beneficiaries in the Cova portal
  • Assist Stake Holders to organize celebration events when all eligible beneficiaries from a particular catchment area get all required doses of COVID vaccines.
