Research Fellow/ Research Associate/Senior Research Associate

Organization: The Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) 

Deliverables:

  • Review literature on Ultra processed foods availability, access and consumption in India.
  • Develop a list of the sub-categories of UPF consumed across all regions in India.
  • Compile a comprehensive list of example UPF items within each sub-category.
  • Assist the PI and co PI in constitution of an expert panel on UPF categorization and development of Indian UPF screener.
  • Organize and lead expert panel meetings from time to time.
  • Develop and finalize and adapt study tools into EDC platform for validation study.
  • Manage and supervise data collection during the tool validation.
  • Support the PI and Co-PI in data analysis and report writing Preparation of periodic reports and administrative documentation work as requested by the granter.
  • Organizing periodic meeting with the study collaborators.
  • Assist the PI and co-PI in preparation of manuscripts.
  • Coordination with admin, HR and finance.
  • Preparation of periodic reports (quarterly) and updates, data analysis, technical report and manuscripts.
  • Any other task as assigned by the Supervisor/PI.

Qualification:

Desirable:

  • M.Sc. (Nutrition/food science/ food technology/public health nutrition) OR PhD (Nutrition/food science/ food technology/Public health Nutrition)

Experience:

Desirable:

  • Around 1 Year of research experience
