Position: School Leadership and Development Programme: Coordinator

What your role will entail

1. Designing the School Leadership and Development Programme Connect and build relationships with system leaders during the needs assessment phase to better understand the context of the education system

  • Identify the key levers for transformation based on insights from the needs assessment phase, using specific frameworks and tools.
  • Co-plan the School Leadership and Development Programme for the education department for the next 3 years, along with the Vidhya Vidhai Team.

2. Implementation of the School Leadership and Development Programme – Implement the action plan to lead change efforts at schools by generating buy-ins and building ownership in all stakeholders.

  • Support strong teaching-learning practices through training and coaching teachers.
  •  Build effective leadership capacity by forming relationships and working inpartnership with the School Leadership and Management.
  • Forge productive parent/community – school partnerships through PTM’s, SMC’s and other essential opportunities.
  • Foster a culture of trust, inclusivity, collaboration and continuous learning in schools.
  • Identify and forge external partnerships with NGO’s/ Institutions/ Experts aimed at addressing vital needs in schools.
  •  Pilot other need-based programs or integrate existing programs and/or solutions from departments and organizations towards improving the standard of education

● Managing Relationships

a. Foster positive relationships with all stakeholders of the department to invest them towards change required in the system.

● Data Tracking, Documentation and Reporting

a. Collect, analyse and evaluate data (qualitative and quantitative data sets) using context-appropriate tools and methods to track school, teacher and student progress with respect to the Program Intervention.

b. Document and Report data and progress of the Program periodically to the Department Leadership and Management.

c. Analyze data to reflect on effectiveness of the Program and integrate learnings/ feedback back to reiterate the design of the School Leadership and Development Programme.

● Other Responsibilities

a.Contribute to the development and growth of Vidhya Vidhai Foundation as a strong, sustainable institution through supporting parallel teams such as Fundraising, Communication, Program Design, Human Resources and Operations.

• Scope: Full time

• Remuneration: 3L to 4L ( Negotiable based on candidate)
