Position: Program officer - Training & Implementation
Organization: The Antara Foundation
Location: Madhya Pradesh
Responsibilities:
• Understand the program design and strategy
• Plan and implement program interventions (supply and demand side)
• Monitor the program routinely
• Maintain and analyze data and plan field visits accordingly.
• Coordinate closely with village/block/district government officials to ensure quality delivery of the program
• Extensive field visit on daily basis to different areas of the block based on the requirement
• Perform any other task as and when assigned by the organization
Skills and Qualifications:
• A recognized undergraduate or postgraduate degree in any discipline. Master’s in Social Works (MSW)/Business Administration (MBA)/Rural Management is preferable
• At least 2- 3 years work experience in rural development or community mobilization. Experience in Maternal & Child Health and/or nutrition would be preferable. Should not be more than 30 years of age
• Experience working with the community will be given preference
• Strong analytical skills and ability to use data
• Ability to present information in a structured and insightful manner
• Excellent skills in oral and written communications
• Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment
• Ability to work independently and as a team player in a complex, multicultural environment, with demonstrated leadership, communication, networking and presentation capabilities
